About Us
At Lake Country Childcare we strive to provide high quality childcare for infants to preschool children. Our Focus is to provide a stimulating early care and education experience that fosters each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our primary goal is to nurture a child’s desire to be a life-long learner.
At Lake Country Childcare we whole heartily believe that JFK said it best when he said “Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future." In the fast paced ever changing world we live in today it is crucial our children feel inspired, nurtured, and ready to meet the challenges ahead. This is where we come in. We treat every child like the treasure they are, and are personally invested in their success!
PROGRAMS
Our programming is based on the philosophy that children can learn about themselves and their surroundings through play. By focusing on play-based learning children are able to develop social, emotional, cognitive and gross-motor skills. They are also able to gain and develop the self-confidence necessary to engage in the world around them.
INFANTS (6 weeks - 12 months)
Infants learn, grow and develop by exploring and discovering the world around them. This is enhanced by nurturing teachers who recognize the importance of being able to meet the needs of the children in their care.
TODDLERS (12 months - 18 months)
Toddlers are busy people. With increasing language and self-help skills, toddlers are learning and growing at a rapid rate. Creative, fun and educational activities are planned and consistent routines established to promote a solid foundation for learning.
TWOS (18 months - 36 months)
Curious, out-going and always moving, twos are expressing their independence anytime the opportunity arises. With educational activities planned everyday, children are consistently engaged in hands-on learning to expand their social, emotional and cognitive development.
PRESCHOOL (3 years - 4 years)
Preschool children are inquisitive, aware and adventurous. Activities and experiences are planned based on the interests of the children and their individualized learning styles. All children are immersed in writing, reading and science activities to help them develop early literacy skills.
